We were told that the barn was built in the late 30s and the shed was added in 1950. All of the lumber for the barn was cut from the woods on the property. It was used for storing hay for cattle. It since has been used for storage and various 4H projects and a couple horses. We never thought of it as a venue until one of our sons wanted to use it for his wedding. We then spent the next year cleaning it out and preparing it for his wedding. It was a beautiful and successful wedding! Right away we began getting inquiries from people wanting to use the barn for a venue, so here we go!
